Benefits of studying in PASUM (Pusat Asasi Sains Universiti Malaya)

Assalamualaikum ,
Here are 20 reasons why you should study In UM as a Pasumians!
1. You can save time..( Fast track to degree)
2. You can join extracurricular activities or hold a position in events. Such as KEMAS, KREATIF, JTK(jawatan kuasa tinggi kolej)
3. Bangunan kolej Pasum is a walking distance of 15 minutes from your kolej kediaman or KUAZ we fondly say.
4. You can join kuliah maghrib every mon-wed and join recital of yassin on thursday at surau Darul Hijrah.
5. You can explore many places in UM with your own pace and time.
Go to Tasik Varsiti to go kayak or climb the tree top at the same place.
6. UM is placed in a central city so most probably you will go outing at several places easily with LRT,KTM and bus Rapid Kl and also with uber and grab thats trending right now. Fret not you can easily destress throughout your foundation years.
7. You can enjoy theatre at Panggung eksperimen at Dewan Canselor.
8. You can join Sukmum much like kokurikulum (badminton, swimming, tenis, football, rugby, ping pong, basketball, chess and many more.
9.There's also sukan asasi!
So basically sukan Asasi is you compete with other students from UiTM, UIA, Matriks and Unimas and UniSZA . If you are one of the supporters you can travel or meet your friends from other university if the game is held at other university.
10. You can meet your twin(someone who shares the same bday as you)
This is because Here at PASUM they distribute students in classes like from Jan-December into separate classes. For an example, someone who is born in January will be in HA1/HA2/HA3.
Mine's in HL1 and my bday is on November. Ohh the H stands for hayat! For Fizikal students the letter is F.
11. You get a chance to travel to Japanwith your friends because they offer to bring you there with fees of course! I think it should be around 4000-6000 ringgit but forhow long I'm not sure.
12. You get a chance to visit other faculties in UM after your Ujian 1 in Semester 2.
Don't worry the faculties also came to you to explain what they offer if you join them.
13. Reliable and sporting Lecturers. Sometimes you will get your Lecturers as your tutors! Don't be afraid as they will guide you on how to answer their questions in exams.
14. Your lecturers prepare your quiz, test, and exams!?! Most probably you will ace them because they will give some input on what topic to study!
15. We have buses to go to class from your college(Pasum).
But the schedule depends on degree students and yes sometimes you will share space with degree students.
16. If you're bored you can climb bukit Simen near bangunan Api( A must for foundation studies go for it to take a picture of sunrise and great lighting!)
17. For eating, you can travel to Kolej Kediaman 12 or uber to Kolej Kediaman 7(Ibnu Sina) for a steaming nasi kukus and a nice cool ABC and Cendol!
18. You'll meet various friends here from other states. I personally enjoyed hearing my friend speaks in dialect of Terengganu!
19. You get short but repetitive holidays so you won't get homesick(That's if you live near campus)
20. Stadium Arena is like 3 minutes walk (Easily support your Kolej Kediaman during opening and closing ceremony for Sukmum) There are Parade from the 1st to 12th college representatives, shows(flashmob) basically they do aroutine of 2-3 songs)
Sukmum is a friendly sports competition between all 12 college in UM.
